This patch does not include a built-in attractant.

Can a potty pad be used between the potty patch and the tray?

A potty pad can be used in between the tray and patch but it is not required. If a potty pad is used, pad should be checked from time to time and replace when needed.

Why did I receive a different product than what I saw on site and purchased?

It is the same product you purchased, but we are undergoing a brand refresh and are in the process of updating all the packaging from the old design which is what you may have received.
