Feeding Instructions
Adult: Feed 1 can per 15 lbs of body weight per day.
Puppy:
Up to 3 months of age, feed 1 can per 5 pounds of body weight per day.
4 to 6 months of age, feed 3/4 can per 5 pounds of body weight per day.
7 months to 1 year of age, feed 1/2 can per 5 pounds of body weight per day.
Gestation & Lactation: Feed up to three times the adult amount per day.
Feed according to the age, size and activity of your dog. Feed at room temperature and refrigerate unused portion. Always provide plenty of fresh water. These recommendations are guidelines only, and should be adjusted upon your dog's health, body condition, life stage, sex, activity and climatic temperature.
Gradually transition by adding a small amount of American Journey to your dog's current diet, reducing the amount of the current diet and increasing the amount of American Journey for 7 – 10 days until the transition is complete. For sensitive dogs, we recommend a 10 – 14 day transition.

If you plan on transitioning to a new American Journey canned dog food flavor, we recommend mixing the food gradually for 7-10 days until the transition is complete. For sensitive dogs, we recommend a 10-14-day transition.
Cats have different nutrient requirements than dogs and therefore we would not recommend you feed dog food to a cat. This food is formulated to meet the nutrient requirements of dogs and would not be considered complete and balanced for a cat's daily nutritional needs.
