Yes. Any unused portion must be refrigerated in a sealed container. Consider a plastic container with a tight-fitting lid. In addition, we recommend using each meal completely within 4 days of opening it. If your cat doesn??t care for cold food, let it sit at room temperature for around 30 minutes, or microwave it for 10 seconds (in a microwave safe dish, not the can), prior to feeding.

To help ensure you??re getting the freshest food for your cat, we provide both a ??Production Date?? and an ??Expiration Date?? on our packaging, located on the bottom of the can.
